good afternoon all...are any of you having trouble getting onto Make Up Alley today? i keep getting this:
The error has been logged and the MUA administrators have been notified.strange, right? just wondering if it's happening to everyone, or just me. if you're having trouble too or happen to know what's going on, let me know in the comments.

I'm getting the same error message when I try to get on MUA, too! I took a swap break and haven't tried to get on in a couple of weeks, but today I really wanted to get on! I get the exact same message as you: "The error has been logged and the MUA administrators have been notified." Also, this is strange: the date on the page says June 3, 2008. It's the 6th! In the bar at the top of my screen (Safari browser on an iMac) it says "Makeupalley 500 Internal Server Error." I looked that up on Google, GoodSearch, and Gigablast, but the information there doesn't tell me what to do about the error. I tried using Firefox to get on, but got the same error message again. I wish I knew when I might be able to get on again, or how to contact the MUA folks to ask what's up.
Me again! (Same poster as above.) I wanted to add that my internet provider is Comcast. Is that the same one you use? In my search for information about the error message we're both getting when we try to get on MUA today, it sounded like maybe it has something to do with the internet provider, but I'm not positive. It said the error isn't on the client's end, but I don't know enough about the workings of the endless, magical internet to know precisely whose end they mean the error is on. So I wanted to see if you and I are both using Comcast, in case that has anything to do with it. >^. .^<
hi anonymous! yes, i am on comcast too, i don't know what the problem is about but my friend who uses MUA emailed me and told me to use the Beta version of MUA, not even exactly sure what that means, but that will let you get on. go here:

and you should be able to use that until the regular MUA gets back up or our provider fixes whatever the problem is. happy to help! :D
